VisImage has completed the first phase of the contract on Unmanned Vehicles. Under the contract, two literature reviews have been published, titled "A Literature Review and Development Recommendations of Interface Technology on Handheld Devices for a MAV GCS" and "A Literature Review of Augmented Reality Technologies of UV Operator Interface Design".
A study was conducted at DRDC Toronto to evaluate "Operator Interface Designs for Handheld Devices to Control Micro Aerial Vehicles". The technical report on this experiment is titled: An Empirical Study on Operator Interface Design for Handheld Devices to Control Micro Aerial Vehicles (PDF).
